REQUIREMENTS
- Civil Engineer or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 9-15 years of experience in operations or production management within the steel or metal fabrication industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, plant operations, and quality control systems.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (experience with SAP or similar preferred).
- Good communication skills in English.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily operations of the steel manufacturing or fabrication facility.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met efficiently.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production, warehouse, and maintenance teams.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely preventive maintenance.
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE labor and safety laws.
- Review production data and prepare reports on operational performance, output, and quality.
- Coordinate with the procurement and logistics departments to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and supplies.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to achieve operational goals and maintain high morale.
- Collaborate with senior management on budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
