REQUIREMENTS

• Civil Engineer or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 9-15 years of experience in operations or production management within the steel or metal fabrication industry.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, plant operations, and quality control systems.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (experience with SAP or similar preferred).
• Good communication skills in English.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily operations of the steel manufacturing or fabrication facility.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met efficiently.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production, warehouse, and maintenance teams.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely preventive maintenance.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE labor and safety laws.
• Review production data and prepare reports on operational performance, output, and quality.
• Coordinate with the procurement and logistics departments to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and supplies.
• Lead, train, and motivate staff to achieve operational goals and maintain high morale.
• Collaborate with senior management on budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
