Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching languages, particularly Spanish; classroom experience is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to individual student needs
• Familiarity with learning technology platforms and online teaching tools
• Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English; additional language skills such as Mandarin, French, Japanese are a plus
• Experience working with children or young learners, including preschool or early childhood education settings
• Ability to manage virtual classrooms effectively while maintaining student engagement
• Demonstrated writing skills for creating clear instructional materials and progress reports
• Passion for education, patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to student success

RESPONSIBILTIES

• Deliver live, one-on-one online Spanish lessons to students across various age groups and skill levels
• Develop customized curriculum plans that align with each student’s learning objectives and proficiency levels
• Incorporate diverse teaching methods, including multimedia resources and interactive activities, to enhance engagement
• Monitor student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
• Manage virtual classroom environments effectively, ensuring a positive, respectful, and motivating atmosphere
• Collaborate with parents or guardians when appropriate to discuss student progress and address any concerns
• Stay current with language education best practices, including literacy education, early childhood education, and special education strategies
