Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in odour control and ventilation system design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification demonstrating expertise in engineering principles.
- Proven experience with various odour abatement technologies (e.g., biofiltration, activated carbon, chemical scrubbing, thermal oxidation).
RESPONSIBILITES
- Design and implement advanced odour control systems, including biofilters, scrubbers, and activated carbon filters, to mitigate foul air emissions from industrial and municipal sources.
- Conduct thorough site assessments and air quality monitoring to identify sources of odours and quantify their intensity and impact.
- Develop and execute comprehensive ventilation strategies to ensure optimal air circulation, dilution, and removal of contaminants in diverse environments.
- Select and specify appropriate ventilation equipment, such as fans, ductwork, and air handling units, considering airflow, pressure drop, and energy efficiency.
