MEP Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Valid DEWA certification/approval.
• Valid Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) certification/approval.
• Minimum 3–5 years of MEP engineering experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and authority regulations.
• Experience in residential and commercial building projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (knowledge of Revit is an advantage).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and supervise Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare, review, and approve MEP shop drawings, technical submittals, and material submittals.
• Obtain and manage approvals from DEWA and Dubai Civil Defence (DCD).
• Ensure all MEP installations comply with local authority regulations, UAE codes, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during design and construction
