REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience in medical billing, preferably in mental or behavioral health
• Familiarity with electronic claim submission and EOB processing
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
• Reliable communication and ability to manage tasks independently
• Experience with payer portals and claim follow‑up workflows is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Submit electronic claims through our billing platform with accuracy and consistency
• Process electronic explanations of benefits (EOBs) and update client accounts accordingly
• Reconcile accounts to ensure payments, adjustments, and balances are correct
• Follow up on outstanding or denied claims, including resubmissions and payer communication
• Maintain organized documentation and communicate any billing issues that require provider attention
