Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related roles with a strong portfolio of campaigns (students can also apply and provide examples of work related to our marketing strategies and advertising needs).

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic design purposes.

Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research techniques, and web analytics tools like Google Analytics.

Skilled in video editing software to produce engaging multimedia content.

Familiarity with social listening tools and social media management platforms such as Hootsuite or Buffer.

Knowledge of Facebook Advertising and other paid digital marketing channels to create targeted campaigns.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences (College degree preferred, but will consider all qualified applicants)

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and TikTok to increase engagement and followers.

Create high-quality content including graphics, videos, photography, and written posts aligned with branding guidelines.

Manage social media to ensure consistent posting and timely responses.

Monitor social listening channels to gather insights on customer sentiment, industry trends, and competitor activities (Neighborly, etc).

Optimize content for SEO by conducting keyword research and integrating relevant keywords into posts and website content.

Analyze web and social media analytics using Google Analytics and platform insights to measure campaign performance and inform future strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales and management team to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.

Oversee paid advertising campaigns on Facebook Ads, Yelp, Thumbtack and other digital platforms to maximize reach and ROI.

Maintain (or create) relationships with influencers, media outlets, and partners to enhance brand visibility through public relations efforts.

Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publication.
