Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Federal correspondence management systems.
- Subject matter expertise in Correspondence Management, Records Management, Section 508 Compliance, FOIA/FACA Processing, Technical Writing, and Content Management.
- Experience with federal digital workspaces, content management systems, and business process optimization.
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills to develop SOPs, strategic documentation, and business process workflows.
- Familiarity with federal enterprise readiness, legislative mandates, and shifting administrative processing toward customer service and strategic planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Document business process workflows for controlled correspondence, FOIA, FACA, and records management capabilities.
- Draft, update, and finalize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Controlled Correspondence, Correspondence Policy, Data Quality, Directives and Regulation, Forms and Reports, FOIA/Privacy Act, FACA, Information Collections, and Records Management.
- Identify and map internal strategic documents, frameworks, and tools to ORMS program activities and update associated websites for content management alignment.
- Perform Section 508 remediation and ensure compliance standards are met across digital workspaces and enterprise content.
- Assist Government program staff in drafting Business Case documents, including Analysis of Alternatives, and prepare draft recommendations with detailed backup for full transparency.
- Provide program support services by analyzing the impact of new legislation/regulations on the organization and recommending innovations/best practices in data content and management (e.g., Six Sigma).
- Accurately identify and document records management and controlled correspondence requirements necessary to achieve successful system implementations (e.g., ICCT, ECMM, CoRe).
