Localisation Project Coordinator

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

● Extensive experience in at least one of the following workflows is mandatory:

○ Subtitling

○ Translation

○ Dubbing (preferred)

○ Audio Description (preferred)

○ Live broadcasting

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Fluency in English

● Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

● Ability to work well under pressure and able to prioritize and pivot accordingly

● Pro-active mindset and able to work well within a global team environment

Preferred

● Relevant working experience in the localization and/or media industry

● Relevant experience with subtitling / closed captioning

● Previous experience with project management software

● Fluency in a second language other than English

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in localization or language studies

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Coordinating the translation and QC subtitling projects for high-profile streaming clients

● Being part of our 24/7 round-the-clock team providing production and linguist support, liaising with other team members based in Singapore, LA and London offices

● Troubleshooting issues with our linguist team and escalate urgent enquiries to clients

● Ensuring our projects are delivered on time and to expectations

● Driving process optimization within the team to ensure our workflows are as streamlined, efficient, and as effective as possible.
