Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Law degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent) required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. laws and regulations.
• Experience with legal research, legal reviewing, compliance, or legal content editing.
• Excellent proofreading, fact-checking, and analytical skills.
• Ability to identify legal inaccuracies and explain required corrections clearly.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to research and verify information using credible U.S. legal and government sources.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Prior experience with healthcare law, telehealth, medical marijuana/MMJ, ESA regulations, or healthcare compliance is a strong plus.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Review articles and content related to U.S. laws, regulations, and compliance.
• Review content for our MMJ, ESA, and GLP-1/Telehealth projects.
• Verify legal information, claims, references, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify inaccurate, outdated, or potentially misleading legal information.
• Ensure content aligns with applicable U.S. federal and state laws.
• Edit and provide recommendations to improve legal accuracy and clarity.
• Review legal terminology and ensure it is used appropriately.
• Fact-check information using reliable and authoritative legal sources.
• Collaborate with content writers and the internal team to address legal corrections.
• Ensure reviewed content is clear, accurate, and suitable for publication.
