Legal Intake Specialist

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Someone with 2-3 years of legal intake experience
• Someone who genuinely loves being on the phone and talking to people
• Obsessively organized—nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
• Self-starter who doesn’t need to be told twice
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Experience in legal intake, sales, or customer service preferred
• Familiarity with CRM or case management software a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to inbound leads generated through digital advertising campaigns via phone, text, and email
• Qualify prospective clients against case criteria provided by the attorney
• Guide qualified clients through the sign-up process, including collecting information and sending retainer agreements
• Track all leads and client status in our case management system (Law Ruler, Clio)
• Follow up persistently with prospective clients until they sign, decline, or go cold
• Flag issues and opportunities to the attorney daily
