Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in joinery and woodworking manufacturing estimation.
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, veneers, laminates, solid wood, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of UAE market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors is highly preferred.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery and woodworking projects.
• Calculate material, hardware, labor, finishing, packaging, and installation costs.
• Analyze production requirements and manufacturing processes to determine accurate project costs.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare commercial and technical tender submissions.
• Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and project management teams.
• Conduct value engineering exercises and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain and update cost databases, supplier pricing, and estimation records.
• Support project handover by providing detailed cost breakdowns and project budgets.
