Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of experience in IT administration, deskside support, or a related field.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, network, voice, and endpoint systems.
  • Knowledge of MDM solutions, endpoint security tools, access control systems, IT infrastructure setup, and cloud services.
  • Experience with firewall, VPN, VoIP, telephone systems, wireless networking, Office 365 administration, and endpoint management solutions.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Flexibility to provide after-hours/on-call support as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide front-line deskside support and respond to urgent IT incidents with speed and professionalism.
  • Handle new-joiner setups, hardware swaps, peripheral installation, and MDM enrolment.
  • Manage access control and biometric enrolments, and support office moves and cabling requirements.
  • Liaise with local vendors and service providers (e.g., DU) to manage deliveries, installations, and service escalations.
  • Maintain and update IT asset inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Participate in a structured on-call/after-hours rotation for triaging and escalating critical issues.
  • Administer and support firewall configurations, VPN setup, and secure remote access solutions.
  • Manage VoIP systems, telephone systems, and related voice infrastructure support.
  • Support wireless network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting (Wi-Fi access points, coverage issues, guest networks).
  • Perform Office 365 administration, including user management, mailbox configuration, licensing, and basic security policies.
  • Manage endpoint solutions including endpoint security, device management, compliance, and deployment using tools such as EDR platforms, antivirus solutions, and endpoint management systems (e.g., Intune/SCCM).
