Information Security Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in Information Security or Cybersecurity roles.
• Hands-on experience with security tools, SIEM monitoring, vulnerability management, and network security.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and threat detection techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement security architecture including firewalls, VPNs, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Monitor systems and network traffic to detect and analyze security threats and suspicious activities.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, security scans, and penetration testing to identify risks.
• Lead incident response activities including investigation, containment, and remediation of security breaches.
• Maintain and upgrade security tools, infrastructure, and patch management processes.
• Ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and internal policies.
• Support audits and contribute to continuous improvement of security frameworks.
