REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational training in HVAC technology to provide a strong foundational knowledge.
• Certification from a recognized HVAC program, ensuring proficiency in essential skills and industry standards.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance within residential and commercial settings.
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations to ensure compliance during installations and repairs.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency, identifying issues before they escalate.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or broken parts to prolong equipment lifespan.
• Install new HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations, and providing customized solutions based on client needs.
• Calibrate thermostats and controls to enhance system functionality and occupant comfort, adapting settings based on seasonal demands.
