REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in grant proposal writing with a successful track record of securing funding from government agencies, foundations, or corporate donors.
• Strong database management experience, particularly with donor management systems like Raiser’s Edge or equivalent CRM software.
• Excellent research skills to identify new funding opportunities across various sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans for fundraising campaigns that align with organizational goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for preparing reports, presentations, and proposals.
• Experience in digital marketing strategies including social media marketing to enhance outreach efforts.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging narratives tailored to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of fundraising for business development as well as nonprofit organizations’ donor relations practices.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining professionalism in all communications.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Conduct thorough research on potential grant opportunities aligned with organizational goals using databases and research tools.
• Develop persuasive grant proposals, including budgets, narratives, and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with funder guidelines.
• Manage donor and alumni databases using CRM software such as Raiser’s Edge or similar platforms to track funding progress and donor engagement.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather relevant information and craft compelling stories that highlight organizational impact.
• Maintain ongoing communication with funders, donors, and partners to foster strong relationships and ensure timely reporting.
• Coordinate digital marketing efforts, including social media campaigns, to raise awareness of funding needs and organizational achievements.
• Oversee project management tasks related to grant deadlines, reporting schedules, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
