REQUIREMENTS
- B2B marketing background. Or why you think you can win right out of the gate.
- Proven SEO and content track record. You can point to articles you wrote that rank, traffic you grew, and pipeline you sourced.
- Hands-on writer. You don’t manage writers — you are one. Your LinkedIn is good. Your last newsletter was good. You’ll be asked for samples and a paid trial.
- AI-native workflow. You use Claude/GPT, Clay, n8n, and whatever else is current. You’re not threatened by AI — you’ve 10x’d yourself with it.
- Built something from zero. You’ve stood up a marketing function or a content channel from nothing. You know the difference between a strategy doc and shipping.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content engine: 8 SEO/AEO articles, 30+ LinkedIn posts across leader and company accounts, 4 newsletters, 2 case studies, and 2 lead magnets per month. You don’t do all the writing yourself forever — but you do it well enough yourself that you can hire and direct people who will. (This is about quality, not AI slop)
- Founder amplification: Ghostwrite, edit, and scale our leaders’ organic content.
- SEO/AEO strategy: Own Ahrefs, the keyword roadmap, content refresh, and link-building. Build domain authority that compounds.
- Distribution: Repurposing systems, community engagement, partner co-marketing, PR. One article should become ten assets.
- Measurement: Weekly dashboard, monthly report to the CEO. You’ll need to show real ROI and real metrics.
- Hiring: You’ll get a team by necessity, but you’ll never get out of the weeds. Our CEO’s and VP’s can still do every aspect of their jobs
