REQUIREMENTS

• 3–6 years producing electrical MEP shop drawings on the contractor side; UAE / GCC experience preferred.
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit MEP; Navisworks an advantage.
• Familiarity with DEWA / local authority and BS / IEC requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare electrical shop drawings: lighting layouts, small-power / power layouts, single-line diagrams, load / DB schedules, cable tray / trunking / containment routing, LV and electrical-room layouts, earthing and lightning protection, and risers.
• Prepare wall-mounted device coordination (switches, sockets, manual call points, data, etc.) and reflected ceiling plans where required.
• Produce material take-offs / BOQ.
• Cross-check against approved submittals; reflect approved vendor and site data; prepare installation details and working clearances.
• Coordinate electrical services with other trades and disciplines.

• Verify cable sizing against load, derating and grouping factors.
• Perform and verify voltage-drop checks within permitted limits.
• Verify load-schedule balancing and diversity.
• Check cable-tray fill, protective-device coordination and earthing arrangement.
