Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking on Zoom video calls.
  • Friendly, professional, and confident phone/video presence.
  • Ability to follow a structured sales outline while still having a natural conversation.
  • Reliable and punctual for scheduled calls.
  • Organized and able to keep clear notes.
  • Comfortable using Google Calendar, Zoom, email, and basic CRM or spreadsheet tools.
  • Able to explain services clearly and answer questions professionally.
  • Comfortable discussing pricing, next steps, and basic sales objections.
  • Prior sales, customer service, education, nonprofit, or afterschool experience is a plus.

Preferred

  • Experience with B2B sales, consultative sales, or service-based sales.
  • Experience working with schools, nonprofits, community centers, youth programs, or afterschool programs.
  • Experience speaking with decision-makers such as principals, directors, program managers, or administrators.
  • Experience using a CRM or sales tracking system.
  • Familiarity with enrichment programs, STEM education, or K–12 programming.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend scheduled Zoom discovery calls with prospective clients.
  • Follow the company’s provided discovery call outline.
  • Ask thoughtful questions to understand each prospect’s needs, including student age groups, desired schedule, program goals, budget, staffing needs, location, and timeline.
  • Clearly explain our afterschool program options and how our services typically work.
  • Answer common questions about scheduling, pricing, staffing, curriculum, logistics, and next steps.
  • Build trust with school, nonprofit, and community-based organization decision-makers.
  • Identify whether the prospect is a good fit for our services.
  • Help move qualified prospects toward the next step, such as a proposal, follow-up call, or closing conversation.
  • Communicate important details to the internal team after calls.
