REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience moderating Discord servers
  • Hands-on experience setting up and managing Discord bots
  • Strong understanding of Discord permissions, roles, and server architecture
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and efficiently
  • Experience working with ticket systems inside Discord
  • Customer service experience with a strong focus on professionalism and empathy
  • Friendly, patient, and clear communication style

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with custom bots or basic scripting (JavaScript, Python, or similar)
  • Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, or third-party integrations
  • Experience working with ambassador, creator, or brand-led communities
  • Experience documenting SOPs or moderation guidelines

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor Discord channels to enforce server rules and maintain a welcoming, positive environment
  • Maintain a friendly, approachable demeanor when interacting in chats
  • Actively engage with community members and Comfrt Ambassadors
  • Answer questions, guide conversations, and de-escalate conflicts professionally
  • Take action on spam, scams, harassment, or policy violations
  • Work directly with Comfrt Ambassadors in Discord channels
  • Manage, respond to, and resolve open tickets using Discord ticketing systems
  • Escalate issues when necessary and ensure timely follow-ups
  • Provide clear, helpful, and customer-focused responses
  • Set up, configure, and manage Discord bots (moderation, ticketing, roles, logging, automation)
  • Customize bot commands, permissions, and workflows
  • Maintain and update bots as server needs evolve
  • Troubleshoot bot failures, permission issues, and server configuration problems
  • Resolve role hierarchy, channel access, and automation issues
  • Respond quickly to technical issues to minimize downtime
  • Help organize server structure, roles, and channels
  • Recommend improvements to enhance moderation efficiency and user experience
  • Assist with documentation for moderation workflows and bot configurations
