Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Over 5 years of extensive analytical experience in credit, audit, or similar fields
• University degree level education, preferably with actuarial, accounting, or auditing qualifications
• Strong analytical and reasoning capacities
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Strong command of insurance financial statement analysis, accounting standards, and solvency requirements
• Strong knowledge of Excel

Preferred

• Proficiency in Arabic
• Proficiency in French or Russian
• Ability to work under time pressure and meet tight deadlines

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor a growing portfolio of issuer ratings and prepare rating committee documentation
• Write and publish comprehensive rating reports on individual issuers
• Participate in credit rating committees for insurers in the allocated region
• Interact regularly with issuer contacts and senior management
• Publish issuer- and sector-specific research and insightful commentaries
• Oversee the work of junior colleagues
• Respond to external queries from investors, bankers, and other stakeholders
• Present rating criteria and approaches to prospective issuers
