Design Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals (mechanical, civil, electrical, etc.)
• Proficiency in CAD and design software
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerances
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (relevant discipline)
• Experience with design tools and product development (entry-level to experienced roles vary)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop design concepts based on project requirements and client needs
• Create detailed drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA)
• Perform calculations and simulations to validate designs
• Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and project teams
• Modify and improve existing designs for performance, cost, and efficiency
• Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Prepare technical documentation and reports
• Support prototyping, testing, and product development
