Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–3+ years experience in:
- Cruise operations
- Shipping / maritime administration
- Logistics coordination
- Travel operations (with operational exposure)
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent follow-up discipline and attention to detail
- Strong Excel / spreadsheet skills
- Clear written English communication
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines across time zones
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Preferred
- Cruise line or port operations experience
- Port agency coordination
- Maritime or shipping administration
- Exposure to cruise or passenger vessel operations
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Send and track port booking requests globally
- Maintain berth calendars and confirmation logs
- Follow up with port agents and authorities across time zones
- Track deposits, deadlines, and required documentation
- Update itinerary trackers and planning databases
- Coordinate schedule updates across internal teams
- Maintain accurate records of port costs and confirmations
- Escalate delays, risks, or non-responses proactively
- Verify basic port feasibility details before escalation
- Prepare booking summaries and internal status reports
- Managing multiple port bookings and deadlines simultaneously
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date planning data
- Maintaining strong communication with global stakeholders
- Supporting smooth execution of itinerary plans
