Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analysis, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in manual skip tracing, data research, or related fields (1-3 years preferred).
- Familiarity with skip tracing tools, databases, public records, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) preferred.
- Excellent research skills and ability to think critically to locate and validate missing information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and experience with data management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with privacy and data protection laws, particularly in relation to skip tracing activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and gather missing or hard-to-find information regarding individuals using various online databases, public records and other resources.
- Identify and validate contact information (e.g., name, phone numbers and addresses)
- Input and maintain accurate records of skip tracing data in databases or tracking systems.
- Update and manage the database with current contact information, including addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
- Organize and categorize skip tracing findings for easy access and retrieval by internal teams.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Cross-reference data sources and resolve discrepancies in findings.
- Work with team members, managers, and other departments to ensure timely completion of data requests and skip tracing projects.
