Customer Service Representative
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- High School education required
- Two to three years past experience in the Insurance Industry or Workers’ Compensation background
- Two to three years past experience in the Customer Service field displaying strong verbal communication skills
- Must possess knowledge of ICD-9/10 and CPT coding and demonstrate problem solving skills
- Knowledge of claim forms, including HCFA, UB-92 and other state specific forms is required
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to utilize a Windows based computer a necessity
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer and resolve all incoming customer calls
- Complete and return all voice mails from customers within 24hrs
- Review and close all support requests on a daily basis
- Review and complete all Review Location packages for processing
- Assist with special projects as necessary
