Credit Analyst

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• 2-5 years of experience in credit analysis, financial institutions analysis, or banking research
• University degree in finance, economics, or accounting
• Professional fluency in Russian and English
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple deadlines

Preferred

• CFA qualification or progress toward designation
• Knowledge of CIS+ and/or EMEA financial institutions and regulatory landscape
• Familiarity with credit rating methodologies

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct in-depth credit analysis of financial institutions, including evaluating financial statements and qualitative/quantitative information
• Monitor a portfolio of credit ratings and prepare recommendations for rating committees
• Draft detailed research reports providing analytical insights into key credit issues and trends
• Monitor and interpret developments in the financial sector, including regulatory changes and macroeconomic trends
• Participate in regular credit review meetings with issuers’ senior management
• Support the team with analysis, ad-hoc tasks, and research initiatives
