Credentialing Coordinator
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of two years of healthcare credentialing experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Professional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, along with internet-based systems
- Associate degree preferred, though not required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing physician credentialing and recredentialing activities in accordance with established guidelines and timelines
- Maintaining accurate provider files, licensure documentation, certifications, and payer enrollment records
- Tracking and communicating upcoming license and credential renewal deadlines
- Assisting with provider enrollment applications and related documentation
- Responding to requests for credentialing information in compliance with applicable regulations
- Supporting the enhancement and organization of internal credentialing workflows and procedures
- Performing additional administrative and credentialing-related duties as assigned
