Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Because of its close alignment with this role, previous experience as a loans processor is highly preferred.
- Because this is a remote role, a minimum 50 mbps reliable internet connection is required.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines is required.
- Solid computer proficiency and the ability to navigate digital systems efficiently and effectively is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and organize digital case files with surgical precision.
- Be the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS) gatekeeper by reviewing submissions for completeness, compliance, and firm standards prior to filing.
- Access, review, and manage digital case files within VBMS to support client claims still in development.
- Manage a high-volume caseload, ensuring no deadline is missed.
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and client communications as needed.
- Maintain strict data integrity and confidentiality in compliance with VA regulations and firm policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and attorneys to ensure a seamless veteran experience from onboarding to claim submission.
