Claims Processing Specialist/Data Entry
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in claims processing, insurance, finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and claims management software.
- Ability to analyze information quickly and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and verify claims submissions for completeness and accuracy.
- Process claims in the company system promptly and in accordance with established guidelines.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or missing information by coordinating with relevant departments.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding claim status and required documentation.
- Maintain detailed records of claims activity, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist in generating reports related to claims processing metrics and performance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency.
