Claims Examiner III – Property

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of property claims experience (carrier experience preferred)
• Experience handling complex property claims independently
• Exposure to liability claims preferred
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and mentoring skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage complex property claims, including high-value losses
• Develop ability to handle low-level liability claims and develop liability expertise
• Conduct comprehensive investigations and coverage analysis
• Negotiate settlements and develop resolution strategies
• Collaborate with legal counsel on pre-litigation matters as needed
• Establish and monitor reserves for complex claims
• Mentor and support junior examiners
• Ensure detailed documentation and regulatory compliance
