Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive, quota-carrying sales/business development experience across the UAE and/or the wider GCC and Egypt markets, specifically in physical security technology (Vulnerability Assessment, Command & Control systems, PSIM, robotics/autonomy, video surveillance, or critical infrastructure protection).
  • A demonstrated, verifiable track record of successful sales engagements with government and/or large enterprise entities in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and/or Egypt. Candidates must be prepared to provide evidence of past success during the interview process.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical discipline; an advanced degree or equivalent professional experience is an advantage.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic, written and spoken, is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement and tendering processes across the covered markets.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Egypt, as well as internationally.

Preferred

  • Existing relationships with decision-makers within regional ministries of interior/defense, law enforcement agencies, or critical infrastructure operators.
  • Experience managing a multi-country sales territory for an international security technology vendor.
  • Arabic-English bilingual proficiency across both Gulf and Levantine/Egyptian business contexts.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Develop and execute a sales and business development strategy for our client’s physical security portfolio across the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Egypt.
  • Identify, build, and manage relationships with senior government and enterprise stakeholders across these markets, including ministries of interior/defense, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure operators, as applicable in each country.
  • Own the full sales cycle across the covered territory — prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Navigate local procurement, tendering, and partner/distributor requirements in each covered market, engaging local agents or system integrators where required.
  • Partner with our client’s technical and solutions engineering teams on RFP/RFI responses, technical demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Represent our client at relevant industry events and exhibitions across the region and internationally as needed.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast across all five markets, reporting regularly to the Regional President, MENA.
  • Provide market intelligence on competitive activity, procurement trends, and emerging opportunities across the covered territory.
