Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Paylocity a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record daily financial transactions
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts and departmental classifications
- Classify all transactions accurately
- Approve internal financial requests
- Accounts Payable
- Provide payroll support including processing commissions and bonuses
- Basic financial reporting with weekly and monthly reporting to management
- Sales tax support
- Month-end and Year-end close along with Controller
- Assist with records for external CPA and year-end audits
