Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, scanning tools); experience with QuickBooks software is a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial and personal information
  • Alignment with our faith-based mission and values (Christian commitment preferred)
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a small team

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process incoming checks: receive, prepare deposits, and record transactions
  • Perform data entry and general bookkeeping tasks (e.g., recording expenses, reconciling accounts)
  • Audit and process timecards for staff and program participants
  • Handle professional communications with directors, vendors, insurance companies, and other external parties
  • Maintain accurate vehicle records, including registration, insurance, and related documentation
  • Scan, file, and distribute incoming mail, email attachments, and other documents to the appropriate recipients in a timely manner
  • Maintain organized vendor files and ensure business licenses/permits are current and properly documented
  • Perform electronic filing and other administrative duties as needed
  • Assist with additional finance office tasks and special projects
