Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
• 5-7 years of experience in a relevant finance or accounting role
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA) or currently pursuing qualification
• Strong technical accounting exposure and experience drafting financial statements
• Deep working knowledge of IFRS
• Experience in a global or multinational company environment
• Hands-on experience using AI for finance workflows (e.g., Gemini, Claude)
• Knowledge of tax requirements in UAE and KSA
• High proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems like Workday or NetSuite
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is a plus

RESPONSIBILITES

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting deliverables in compliance with IFRS
• Draft statutory financial statements and support the year-end close and external audit process
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and audit lead schedules
• Act as a key contact for internal and external auditors
• Support VAT and tax-related reporting requirements for the MENA region, specifically UAE and KSA
• Maintain and improve financial controls and accounting processes
• Implement process improvements using AI and automation to streamline finance activities
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Compliance, and FP&A teams
• Support regulatory reporting activities, including potential CBUAE reporting
