Assistant Sales Manager
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 4–7 years of B2B sales experience in FMCG manufacturing (hygiene, tissue, wet wipes preferred).
Proven experience in:
• Institutional sales
• Private label/OEM manufacturing
• Distributor management
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for hygiene products (advantage).
• Experience in UAE/GCC or export markets preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel (costing & pricing models).
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. B2B Sales & Business Development
• Identify and acquire new B2B customers including:
• Distributors & wholesalers
• Private label buyers
• Supermarket chains (bulk supply)
• Hotels, hospitals, airlines, catering companies
• Government & institutional tenders
• Develop and manage OEM/private label opportunities.
• Generate RFQs, proposals, and commercial quotations.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, MOQs, and supply agreements.
2. Key Account Management
• Maintain strong relationships with existing B2B clients.
• Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews.
• Manage contract renewals and long-term supply agreements.
• Monitor customer performance, order volumes, and margin contribution.
• Ensure timely payment collection and credit control coordination.
3. Commercial & Margin Management
• Ensure profitability by managing pricing strategy and cost structures.
• Collaborate with finance to monitor margins per customer.
• Support tender submissions and pricing models.
• Conduct competitor price benchmarking and market analysis.
4. Production & Supply Chain Coordination
• Work closely with production planning to align capacity with confirmed orders.
• Coordinate product specifications, packaging customization, and labeling for private label clients.
• Ensure timely dispatch and adherence to delivery timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels for contract clients.
5. Export Sales
• Support export documentation processes.
• Develop overseas distributor network.
• Monitor international regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate shipping schedules and freight negotiations.
6. Reporting & Forecasting
• Prepare monthly sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
• Track KPIs including revenue, margin, customer acquisition, and DSO.
• Provide management with sales analysis and growth opportunities.
