Application Security Lead

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in application security (engineering, development, or consultancy).
• 2+ years of experience in technical project management within product or information security.
• Proficiency in mobile-relevant languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, or Objective-C.
• Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols including OAuth, JWT, and Cloud IAM.
• Excellent English communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for various audiences.
• Ability to travel as required.

Preferred

• Experience with security architectures across Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Web platforms.
• Familiarity with mobile biometric authentication and secure hardware like Keystore, Keychain, or HSM.
• Experience with S-SDLC processes and product security assessments.
• Proven experience managing technical teams and stakeholder management.
• Experience working with international, distributed teams across different time zones.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead technical project management and service delivery for mobile application security assessments and advisory services.
• Work with clients to define requirements, scope, and plan technical activities such as audits, evaluations, and security architecture development.
• Decompose high-level product descriptions into well-defined technical tasks for security engineering teams.
• Lead technical project teams and oversee the continuous improvement of deliverable quality.
• Document and present product security risks using both technical and business-oriented language.
• Conduct technical QA on team deliverables, including findings, reports, and improvement recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client development and security teams.
