AMS Business Analyst
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience working with associations or nonprofits
- Experience with AMS platforms such as Fonteva, NimbleAMS, Personify, Protech, Cobalt, NetForum, or similar systems
- Experience with RFP processes and enterprise software selection projects
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a client-facing consulting environment
Preferred
- High level understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows
- Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Azure, or reporting/analytics tools
- Understanding of data migration and data governance concepts
- Agile/Scrum experience preferred
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Lead discovery sessions and gather business, functional requirements
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements
- Support AMS selection and RFP initiatives, including vendor evaluations and demo coordination
- Create functional specifications, process flows, user stories, gap analysis, and documentation
- Work closely with clients, developers, vendors, and project teams
- Support integrations, data migration, reporting, and system implementation activities
- Assist with testing, validation, and post-go-live support
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions
