AI Marketing Automations Lead

September 21, 2026
Application ends: December 20, 2026

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years across marketing, content or marketing operations, with at least 2 years of hands-on building AI or automation workflows in a real business, not as a side project.
  • Hands-on with our stack or its close equivalents: Claude (Cowork, Projects, skills and agents), ElevenLabs Conversational AI or a comparable AI voice platform, Zapier or Make, lemlist or a similar sequencing tool, Twilio, HubSpot, and at least one social scheduling and monitoring tool. You should be able to open any of these on day one and start building.
  • A builder’s mindset with a writer’s judgement. You have shipped automations that other people rely on, and you have written or edited content that senior B2B buyers read. You can show both.
  • Genuine taste. You have a strong view on what good B2B content looks like in financial services and can back it up with examples you made and examples you admire. You notice when copy is generic, when a visual is off-brand, and when an AI output sounds like an AI output.
  • Creative problem-solving. You come up with ideas for content formats, distribution angles and workflows that were not on anyone’s list, and you can prototype them fast.
  • Efficiency-minded. You understand how LLM costs work (tokens, context, model tiers, caching) and you have made deliberate decisions to reduce cost or latency in a workflow. You can explain the trade-offs.
  • A service orientation. You like being the person who makes colleagues faster and you are comfortable being interrupted for it. You communicate clearly with non-technical teammates and document what you build.
  • Comfortable in fintech or B2B. Experience in banking, financial services or fintech is preferred; B2B experience is essential. You should be able to write credibly about lending, cards and payments infrastructure after a short ramp.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Own the marketing AI stack. Set up, run and scale every AI workflow across marketing: Claude Cowork agents and skills, the ElevenLabs Conversational AI calling fleet, lemlist and Twilio for outbound, Zapier for orchestration, social publishing and monitoring, and automated data reporting out of HubSpot and the ad platforms. You decide what runs where, how it connects, and when to replace a tool.
  • Build the content engine. Design and run a repeatable production system for content across four streams: blog and thought leadership, co-branded partner content, ready-to-post content for founders and the sales team on LinkedIn, and sales collateral (one-pagers, decks, case studies, battlecards). Set the editorial calendar, build the briefs, run the AI-assisted drafting, and do the final edit yourself. The output has to sound like Stitch and be worth reading by a bank CTO, not like it came off a content farm.
  • Be the taste filter. Everything that leaves the machine passes through your judgement first. You know the difference between content that fills a calendar and content that gets a reply from a decision-maker, and you kill the former.
  • Make the whole function faster. Find the manual, repetitive or slow steps in how marketing works, from reporting to list building to creative resizing, and remove them with automation. Your success is measured partly by how much time you hand back to the rest of the team.
  • Optimise for cost and token efficiency. You will own the AI spend across marketing. Design prompts, skills, agents and workflows that use the right model for the job, cache and reuse where possible, and avoid burning tokens on work a rule or a template could do. Report on AI cost per output (per call, per post, per report) and drive it down over time without lowering quality.
  • Unblock the team. When the Growth Marketing Manager needs a five-minute lead response flow, when Sales needs a new battlecard by tomorrow, or when the founder wants a report that does not exist yet, you are the person who builds it. You will be the go-to for “can we make this automatic?” and the answer is usually yes.
  • Run reporting. Build and maintain the automated dashboards and scheduled reports that tell the Head of Marketing and founders what is working: pipeline, MQLs, channel performance, content performance, calling fleet results and AI spend. No manual weekly spreadsheets.
  • Keep it safe and sane. Maintain documentation for every workflow and agent so the function does not depend on your memory. Handle data hygiene, permissions, brand voice guardrails for AI outputs, and compliance basics for a company that sells to regulated financial institutions.
