Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in construction subcontracting, such as tile work, plaster, interior fit-out, construction, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial reporting, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as an Accountant.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
• Knowledge of UAE labour-related financial calculations such as gratuity, leave salary, and payroll is an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Bookkeeping.
• Bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor and control company expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks.
• Track expenses and revenues, client payments and outstanding balances.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with FTA regulations.
• Prepare and file UAE Corporate Tax, ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Maintain accounting records in accordance with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT requirements.
• Assist in payroll processing and WPS-related accounting, where applicable.
