Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar Account Executive or enterprise sales role.
- Experience working with international clients and/or partners.
- Proven experience in enterprise software sales, preferably in contact center, Software as a Service, or conversational artificial intelligence solutions.
- Strong understanding of technical sales processes, including request for proposal and request for information responses, solution presentations, and proposal development.
- Ability to map customer business requirements to technical solutions and articulate value propositions.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management tools such as Salesforce and sales pipeline management.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams such as Sales Engineers and Product Management to deliver customer solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to qualify opportunities and assess risks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Own the full sales cycle for accounts in the United Kingdom and Ireland market, from initial engagement through close and expansion.
- Drive net-new revenue by acquiring and growing enterprise and mid-market accounts across banking, healthcare, insurance, utilities, and telecommunications sectors.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships within target accounts, including Directors or Vice Presidents of Customer Experience, Directors of Information Technology, and Heads of Operations.
- Develop and execute account strategies, territory plans, and pipeline forecasts that meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for accounts and coordinate Solution Consulting, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Legal resources.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally by contributing United Kingdom market and competitive intelligence to product, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Qualify and secure new customer and partner opportunities by assessing technical feasibility and business value.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of proposals, request for proposal responses, business discussions, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Facilitate the transition from pre-sales to implementation through comprehensive knowledge transfer and clear communication of project scope and requirements.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to prospective customers by understanding their business challenges and goals and articulating the value of contact center solutions.
- Identify customer needs, build business cases, overcome objections, and drive solution adoption.
- Qualify opportunities and avoid engagements where technical challenges outweigh long-term partnership value.
- Gather and relay customer feedback and field data to Product Management to support software platform development.
- Provide continuous knowledge transfer to the Sales Team and newly hired Sales Engineers, highlighting technical aspects and competitive positioning.
- Build and maintain relationships with executive, financial, and technical decision-makers throughout the sales cycle.
- Travel as required, up to 20%, including overnight travel, to support business development and customer engagement activities.
- Contribute actively and effectively as an integrated team member.
- Act as an our client’s ambassador in all interactions.
