Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction project coordination, technical engineering, or a similar role.
2. UAE construction experience is preferred.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
4. Good understanding of shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and construction documentation.
5. Good understanding of project quality and QA/QC requirements.
6. Strong coordination, reporting, communication, and follow-up skills.
7. Ability to coordinate effectively with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITES

1. Provide technical and coordination support to the Project Management Team.
2. Prepare weekly and monthly engineering and project reports.
3. Monitor engineering submission schedules in line with the approved project programme.
4. Coordinate material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, temporary works designs, and logistics plans.
5. Ensure required technical documentation is available and implemented to support project delivery.
6. Support implementation of the Project Quality Plan and applicable QA/QC requirements.
7. Coordinate technical submissions and design deliverables in line with construction requirements and client expectations.
8. Prepare and raise RFIs for missing, conflicting, or unclear architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist-work information.
9. Inform the Quantity Surveying team of drawing revisions, specification changes, or site instructions that may have commercial impact.
10. Follow up with subcontractors and suppliers on technical submissions and engineering deliverables.
11. Attend supplier or factory visits when required and provide technical feedback and assessment.
12. Maintain proper engineering records, documentation, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
