Lead AI/ML Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• US Citizenship required (must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance)
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7-10 years of relevant experience
• At least 3 years of experience deploying production enterprise applications in AWS
• At least 2 years of experience deploying production enterprise applications with an AI/ML component
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Experience with machine learning services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Hugging Face, or Weights & Biases
• Solid data manipulation and analysis skills using pandas
• Experience presenting and defending test or experiment results using matplotlib
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS

Preferred

• People management experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the team in evaluating new or emerging technologies using prototypes and proof of concepts
• Analyze and communicate the benefits and risks of implementing new technologies
• Perform as a developer, operations, and security engineer in cloud environments
• Lead teams to support the adoption of new technologies across the enterprise
• Provide technical leadership by supervising and mentoring junior IT specialists
