Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• 6–10 years of experience in Public Affairs, Government Relations, or Health Policy within Gulf markets.
• Strong familiarity with UAE health authorities (MOHAP, DHA, DOH-Abu Dhabi) and the broader GCC policy environment.
• Proven ability to navigate multi-country stakeholders and diverse healthcare systems.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Gulf region.

Preferred

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise in government advocacy, partnership development, and strategic insight.
• Experience in managing crisis communications and fostering innovation within a regulatory framework.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain credible relationships with UAE MOHAP, DHA, DOH-Abu Dhabi, and GCC regulatory bodies to advance strategic agendas.
• Represent Sanofi in multi-government initiatives regarding AI in healthcare, digital health, vaccination, and chronic disease strategies.
• Track policy developments across Gulf markets and develop advocacy strategies for pricing reforms, regulatory innovation, and immunization pathways.
• Ensure Public Affairs alignment across Vaccines, Specialty Care, and General Medicines at regional and country levels.
• Lead collaborations with Gulf health councils, regional scientific societies, and public-health institutions.
• Contribute to regional white papers and position statements to shape the healthcare policy landscape.
• Monitor emerging external risks and support crisis-management preparedness.
