Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience and understanding of insurance payment process, EOB’s and ERA files
- Reconciliation experience
- Strong keyboard skills – alpha and numeric – 7500 plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting strict deadlines
- Collaborates effectively with team members across the department to support shared goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Reliable, organized and self-motivated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconcile client bank statements
- Process the payments received from insurance companies, patients, and other entities toward the settlement of claims
- Ensure all payments are posted correctly, discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly and month-end closing deadlines are consistently met
- Communicate trends or recurring reconciliation issues to supervisor/manager
