REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of financial concepts including investment management, banking procedures, and regulatory reporting standards.
• Experience with financial software platforms used for processing payments and managing accounts payable/receivable.
• Expertise in fraud prevention and detection strategies within a payment environment.
• Solid understanding of securities law, GAAP, SOX compliance, and governmental accounting practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed financial analysis and technical accounting tasks.
• Ability to interpret complex regulations related to investment management and financial services confidently.
• Demonstrated proficiency in cash management techniques, corporate accounting procedures, and regulatory frameworks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process incoming and outgoing payments accurately using advanced financial software systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Monitor transactions for signs of fraud or suspicious activity, employing fraud prevention and detection techniques to safeguard assets.
• Reconcile payment records daily, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly to maintain data integrity.
• Collaborate with banking partners, investment management teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to securities law, GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements.
• Assist in preparing regulatory reports and financial analysis documentation for internal audits and external compliance reviews.
• Support cash management activities by overseeing transaction flows, optimizing liquidity, and ensuring accurate recording of all financial activities.
• Stay current on industry best practices related to governmental accounting, corporate accounting, and financial services to enhance operational efficiency.
