Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous customer service, sales, or call center experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with customers by phone throughout the day
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and dependable
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer proficiency and able to move through software with ease
  • High school diploma or equivalent

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer incoming customer calls professionally and courteously
  • Return missed calls promptly
  • Respond to voicemail, email, text, and online inquiries
  • Follow up on all leads until the customer rents or requests no further contact
  • Assist customers with renting storage units and completing rental agreements
  • Process payments and set up AutoPay
  • Contact tenants regarding past due balances and collect payments
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving concerns
  • Document all customer interactions accurately in company software
  • Promote tenant protection plans and company promotions
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information
  • Meet individual performance goals and company standards
