Account Executive
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Track Record: Proven ability to exceed sales targets in a range of industries and software sales (including enterprise SaaS) environments.
- Tech Tools: Proficient with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and skilled in managing pipelines.
- Communication & Negotiation: Strong presentation, storytelling, and deal-closing capabilities.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B enterprise sales experience, ideally within technology or SaaS.
- Experience working with medium to large enterprise accounts and navigating their associated complexities.
- Experience working within a startup or a scaleup is a strong advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Sales & Business Development – 60%
- Develop a go-to-market strategy to identify, qualify, and secure new enterprise opportunities across priority industries and target accounts.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through solution scoping, pricing, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Deliver consultative, value-led sales engagements, including tailored demos, presentations, and proposals.
- Develop and maintain a healthy, predictable enterprise pipeline using CRM and analytics tools.
Client Relationship Management & Account Growth – 40%
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers in existing key accounts.
- Drive account growth through renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities across our client’s modular platform, and growth generated through stakeholder relationships and strategic introductions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by partnering closely with Customer Success on onboarding, adoption, and retention.
Sales Strategy, Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute sales strategies and go-to-market plans aligned with company objectives and target markets.
- Own revenue, ARR, and customer acquisition targets, ensuring consistent achievement through disciplined sales execution.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM hygiene to provide visibility into performance, trends, and risks.
- Stay current with industry trends, AI advancements, SaaS business models, and competitive dynamics to refine strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing to align on lead-generation activities, campaigns, messaging, and market positioning.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth transitions from sales to delivery, enhancing client experience and renewals.
Representation & Industry Engagement
- Represent the company at client meetings, conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
- Act as a brand ambassador, consistently promoting our client’s value proposition in the market.
