Advertising Inside Sales Representative

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• This is a 1099 position, so you need to have a company, an entity with a valid EIN number
• Have to provide a W-9 with an EIN number
• Experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or phone-based sales
• Confident in making a high volume of outbound calls daily
• A strong communicator who can quickly build trust with prospects
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to close deals
• Familiarity with digital marketing or interest in learning how digital exposure benefits businesses

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct 100+ outbound calls per day to chamber members and prospects
• Set phone appointments to walk potential advertisers through print and digital advertising options
• Close advertising sales and manage the sales process remotely
• Educate prospects on the added value of digital exposure alongside traditional print ads
• Work primarily with chamber-provided membership lists, with some new lead generation when permitted
