DevSecOps and API Management Platform Leader

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree in IT, Information Security, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or API management
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Experience designing and running CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM, including GitOps and policy-as-code
• Experience managing API platforms such as Apigee, Kong, Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway, or MuleSoft
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of API design and authentication protocols like OAuth2, JWT, and mTLS

Preferred

• Certifications such as CKA, AWS DevOps Engineer, or CISSP
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and drive a DevSecOps strategy that delivers secure, automated CI/CD pipelines at scale
• Build and evolve API platforms, including gateways and developer portals, to accelerate innovation
• Embed security by design into every step of the development lifecycle
• Set governance and standards for API lifecycle management, including versioning, throttling, and analytics
• Accelerate adoption of infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration
• Lead cloud-native and microservices transformations to future-proof the platform landscape
• Guide and inspire engineers to build a culture of automation, ownership, and innovation
