Document Controller
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Previous experience as a Document Controller preferred (especially in construction/engineering projects).
- Familiarity with document control systems (Aconex, SharePoint, EDMS, or similar).
- Strong computer skills, especially MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Understanding of construction or project documentation processes is an advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and control all project documents, drawings, and records.
- Ensure proper filing, indexing, and version control of documents.
- Maintain document control systems (manual and electronic).
- Distribute updated documents to relevant departments and stakeholders.
- Track document revisions and ensure only the latest versions are in use.
- Receive, log, and archive incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with company document control procedures and standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, consultants, and contractors.
- Prepare reports on document status, submissions, and approvals.
- Support audits by providing required documentation and records.
