Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Deep, hands-on experience (5+ years preferred) in senior operational, strategy, business-development, or government-relations roles within well-known high-tech (e.g., Google, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Meta, Amazon, Samsung, TSMC, or equivalent global leaders).
• Proven track record of resource integration, ecosystem building, and cross-border commercial execution, especially in US-Korea, US-Japan, or broader US-Asia trade activities.
• Extensive personal and professional connections within the US high-tech sector and ideally, direct or indirect access to the Department of Commerce including US, industry associations.
• Ability to source and validate primary, timely information on international commercial activities rather than repackage public data.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills, clear, concise, and strategically framed.
• High integrity, discretion, and professional judgment.
• Strong interest in the intersection of technology, geopolitics, and global commerce.
• Fluency in English (additional languages such as Korean, Japanese, or Mandarin are a significant plus).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct primary-source intelligence gathering through your existing networks in industry, government, and professional circles, with a strong focus on the latest developments in US international commerce (e.g., Korean-US trade activities, Japan-US trade activities, market access, regulatory changes, and supply-chain shifts).
• Deliver original strategic insights, scenario analyses, and early-signal briefings on high-tech / trends and their intersection with US-Asia commercial relations.
• Identify and synthesize non-public or hard-to-access information from industry insiders, former colleagues, and institutional relationships.
• Provide concise, high-impact written deliverables (memos, briefings, one-pagers) and participate in occasional discussions.
